Jim's motivation for setting up The Cartwright Drama Studio came from the many recent articles and statements released from leading members of the theatrical world, concerning the lack of opportunity for many these days to gain entrance to the profession or even training. This is Jim's attempt to give something back from his years of experience by offering quality training to the community in the area in which he lives and beyond. The aim is for the Studio to develop as a space for experimentation and exploration.

The Cartwright Drama Studios offers classes for adults and recently introduced classes especially for the youth section.

The youth classes offer a unique and exciting opportunity to train under the direction of Jim run by Tracy Higgins.
